Two women co-win Female Best Graduating Student Award at Nigerian Law School 2026.

 

(NAIJA TV) - Adetutu Gomez and Chiamaka Modestus have emerged as the Joint Female Best Graduating Students at the Nigerian Law School for the 2026 Call to Bar, sharing the prestigious honour after outstanding academic performance, discipline, and commitment throughout their professional legal training.

 

Both legal practitioners were called to the Nigerian Bar during the July 2026 ceremonies, capping years of rigorous study with this distinguished recognition.

 

Adetutu Gomez, an alumna of the University of Lagos (UniLag), completed her professional legal training at the Abuja Campus of the Nigerian Law School, where she earned a First Class degree and ranked as the second-best graduating student overall among more than 7,000 students.

 

Chiamaka Modestus, a graduate of Igbinedion University, Okada, completed her law programme at the Port Harcourt Campus. She also earned a First Class degree, demonstrating the depth of talent across different campuses.

 

The recognition of two co-winners in the female category reflects the exceptional academic excellence among this year's graduating class.

 

Beyond her academic achievement, Gomez is a notable Nigerian digital content creator, University of Lagos alumna, and legal professional. Her journey from the University of Lagos to the Nigerian Law School Abuja campus culminated in this historic recognition, cementing her place among the nation's brightest legal minds.

 

The 2026 Call to Bar ceremony also recognised other top performers across the country. Adeniyi Israel emerged as the overall Best Graduating Student at the Nigerian Law School for the 2026 session.
