Chief Uche Nnaji, Odaa Opuo Take PDP Recovery Agenda To Ezeagu LGA Ahead Of 2027

AGUOBU-OWA, ENUGU STATE — The political consultation tour of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) made a strategic stop in Aguobu-Owa, Ezeagu Local Government Area, on September 6, 2026, as party leaders assembled to project their vision for state-wide economic and administrative recovery ahead of the 2027 general elections.

​The delegation was led by PDP governorship flagbearer Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji (Nwakaibie) alongside Chief Dr. Nweke Kingsley Chizoba (Odaa Opuo 1 Na-Ala Igbo), the PDP senatorial candidate for Enugu East Senatorial District. Hosted at Umuaji Eziowa by PDP Youth Chairman Mr. Jonas Ozor Ezilo, the gathering drew key traditional and political stakeholders, including HRM Igwe Don Silvester I of Ishi-Ozalla and campaign Director General Hon. Prince S.E. Ogbodo.

​Addressing community leaders and trade representatives, including the Chairman of Dei Dei Market in Ezeagu, the speakers emphasized that democratic governance must yield tangible economic benefits rather than unfulfilled pre-election promises. In his address, Chief Dr. Nweke Kingsley Chizoba praised Chief Nnaji for awakening public political consciousness across Enugu State, asserting that poor governance and infrastructure neglect must not be accepted as permanent reality.

​Odaa Opuo reaffirmed his personal commitment to legislative advocacy, human capital empowerment, and equitable development for the people of Enugu East Senatorial District and the wider state. The consultation concluded with community leaders in Aguobu-Owa expressing support for the PDP’s recovery agenda, uniting behind a shared strategy focused on citizen welfare, political inclusion, and grassroots development in 2027.
