Comrade Nyere Condemns Alleged Politically Motivated Trial Against Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji, Calls for Respect for the Rule of Law

Comrade Nyere has strongly criticized the ongoing legal proceedings involving the 2027 PDP governorship candidate in Enugu State, Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji (Nwakaibie), describing the case as politically motivated and an attempt to distract him from his growing political momentum.

According to Comrade Nyere, the allegations against Chief Nnaji are unfounded and represent an abuse of the judicial process for political purposes. He expressed confidence that the courts would uphold justice, emphasizing that the rule of law must remain free from political interference.

He further stated that Chief Nnaji's increasing popularity and expanding support across Enugu State have unsettled political opponents, leading to what he characterized as desperate efforts to tarnish his reputation ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

Calling on supporters to remain peaceful and law-abiding, Comrade Nyere urged them not to be discouraged by what he described as temporary political challenges. He maintained that the truth would ultimately prevail through due process and that no amount of political pressure could derail the aspirations of those committed to democratic principles.

In a message directed at political opponents, Comrade Nyere remarked that those seeking short-term political advantage would eventually face the judgment of history, concluding with the expression, "Tomorrow eaters, ndo."

He reaffirmed his support for Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji and encouraged citizens to continue believing in justice, democracy, and the right of every individual to fair and impartial legal proceedings.
