"Enugu Shall Rise Again": Isi-Uzo PDP Structure Rallies Behind Chief Uche Nnaji’s Campaign To Review Tax Regimes

ISI-UZO, NIGERIA — Political mobilization across the Enugu East Senatorial District gained fresh momentum as leaders and Ward Executives of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Isi-Uzo Local Government Area convened to endorse the governance platform of Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji (Nwakaibie).

​The strategic engagement was led by Chief (Dr.) Nweke Kingsley Chizoba (Odaa Opuo), the PDP Senatorial Candidate for Enugu East, alongside traditional and political leaders including HRM Igwe Don Silvester I of Ishi-Ozalla and Hon. Prince S.E. Ogbodo. The meeting convened Hon. Charles Njaeze Nwabueze, PDP Chairman of Isi-Uzo, his executive committee, and representatives from all 11 political wards in the council area, alongside Hon. The delegation presented Chief Nnaji's policy agenda, which prioritizes immediate relief for local enterprises through a comprehensive review of state business levies and taxation frameworks.

​Speakers at the gathering urged the 11 ward executive committees to integrate the campaign's Anyi-Ejebego philosophy into community-level outreach, positioning the 2027 platform around inclusive decision-making and civic welfare.
