Falana, Falz Lead Protest Over Abductions, Hardship
Prominent human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), alongside his son, popular Afrobeats artist Folarin Falana, known as Falz, joined civil society organisations, youth groups and other activists on Friday in a protest against rising insecurity, abductions and economic hardship in the country.
The demonstration, organised by a coalition of civic groups, brought together activists and concerned citizens who expressed frustration over worsening living conditions and the increasing rate of kidnappings across various parts of Nigeria.
The protesters called for urgent government action to address insecurity, improve governance and ease the economic challenges facing citizens.
The protest, which drew attention on social media, forms part of a growing wave of public demonstrations demanding reforms and better protection for citizens.
