Federal Government Releases 2026/2027 Unity Schools Admission List

ABUJA, NIGERIA — The Federal Government has announced the official release of the 2026/2027 academic session admission list for candidates offered places in Junior Secondary School One (JSS1) across Federal Unity Colleges nationwide.  

​In a statement issued by Boriowo Folasade, Director of Press and Public Relations at the Federal Ministry of Education, the Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, approved the release to ensure a transparent, accessible, and orderly admission process. The admission placement follows the evaluation of the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE).  

​Key instructions and guidelines issued by the Ministry include:

​Checking Admission Status: Parents and guardians can verify placement results directly online via the Federal Ministry of Education Posting Portal or by reviewing the physical notice boards at the prospective Federal Unity College.  

​Printing Slips & Clearance: Successful candidates are required to print their official admission slips online and report promptly to their assigned college to complete registration and documentation formalities.  

​Ministerial Advice: Dr. Alausa congratulated successful candidates and their families, urging students to demonstrate discipline, academic focus, and dedication as they prepare for the upcoming school resumption.
