Grassroots Mobilization In Enugu South: Odaa Opuo Engages 13 Ward Executives Ahead Of 2027 Campaign Season

ENUGU, NIGERIA — The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) machinery in Enugu South Local Government Area held a strategic grassroots session bringing together local government party leadership and executives across all 13 political wards.

​The engagement was led by Chief (Dr.) Nweke Kingsley Chizoba (Odaa Opuo 1 Na Ala-Igbo), candidate for the Enugu East Senatorial District, accompanied by HRM Igwe Don Silvester Nweke I of Ishi-Ozalla and Prince S.E. Ogbodo, Director-General of the Odaa Opuo Campaign Movement.

​Addressing ward officers, Odaa Opuo underscored that grassroots executives serve as the structural engine of the party at community and polling-unit levels. He commended the political contributions and sacrifices of Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji (Nwakaibie), the PDP governorship candidate for Enugu State, noting that his leadership helped sustain the party platform for regional aspirants. The gathering reinforced the campaign’s Anyi-Ejebego operational philosophy, which focuses on community-level participation, responsive leadership, and targeted tax structure reforms across the state.
