LPPC Suspends Mike Ozekhome from SAN Rank Pending Disciplinary Proceedings
The Legal Practitioners' Privileges Committee (LPPC) has suspended renowned lawyer Mike Ozekhome from the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) pending the conclusion of disciplinary proceedings.
The decision was announced in a statement issued on Thursday by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Kabir Akanbi, who disclosed that the resolution was reached during the LPPC's 173rd General Meeting held on June 23, 2026.
According to the statement, the suspension will remain in effect until the disciplinary process against Ozekhome is concluded. However, the LPPC did not immediately disclose the specific allegations or details of the proceedings.
