Nwakabie Demonstrates Leadership with Compassion, Replaces PDP Chairman’s Burnt Motorcycle

True leadership is measured not merely by promises, but by the willingness to stand with people in moments of difficulty and need.

Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji (Nwakaibie), the PDP governorship hopeful and leader of the Rescue Enugu Movement, has once again demonstrated a leadership philosophy rooted in compassion, empathy and genuine concern for the people.

Following the reported incident involving Hon. Ejiofor Atama, PDP Chairman of Obollo Ward, during the June 20 Senatorial by-election, where his motorcycle was reportedly burnt, Chief Uche Nnaji responded with a meaningful gesture by providing him with a brand-new motorcycle.

The motorcycle was presented by the PDP State Chairman, Hon. Vitus Okechi, alongside Barrister Emeka Abah and the PDP LGA Chairmen of Enugu North, during a stakeholders’ meeting of the PDP Enugu North Senatorial Zone held at the country home of the party’s senatorial candidate, Dr. Nestor Ezeme.

Beyond the material value of the gesture, it represents something deeper: leadership that recognises sacrifice, restores dignity and stands with its people when it matters most.

Nwakaibie’s action underscores the importance of compassionate, responsive and people-centred leadership—values that should remain at the heart of public service.

Ndi Enugu, this is leadership with a human face.
