NYSC Adjusts 2026 Batch B Stream 2 Orientation Closing Date To Wednesday, August 26
ABUJA, NIGERIA — The Directorate Headquarters of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially issued a public notice informing invited guests, Corps Employers, transport operators, media representatives, and the general public of an adjustment to the 2026 Batch B Stream 2 Orientation Course schedule.
According to the official release, the closing ceremony originally scheduled in alignment with camp timelines has been moved to Wednesday, August 26, 2026, commencing at 9:00 AM prompt across all NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide. The management cited the public holiday on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, as the primary reason for the schedule adjustment.
NYSC officials emphasized that shifting the event to a regular working day will enable newly passing-out corps members to travel safely and report directly to their Places of Primary Assignment (PPA) during official office hours, facilitating immediate acceptance and accommodation processing by their respective employers.
