NYSC Adjusts 2026 Batch B Stream 2 Orientation Closing Date To Wednesday, August 26

ABUJA, NIGERIA — The Directorate Headquarters of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially issued a public notice informing invited guests, Corps Employers, transport operators, media representatives, and the general public of an adjustment to the 2026 Batch B Stream 2 Orientation Course schedule.

​According to the official release, the closing ceremony originally scheduled in alignment with camp timelines has been moved to Wednesday, August 26, 2026, commencing at 9:00 AM prompt across all NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide. The management cited the public holiday on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, as the primary reason for the schedule adjustment.

​NYSC officials emphasized that shifting the event to a regular working day will enable newly passing-out corps members to travel safely and report directly to their Places of Primary Assignment (PPA) during official office hours, facilitating immediate acceptance and accommodation processing by their respective employers.
