The Height of Wickedness: PDP Warns Against Forced Tricycle Shutdown for Governor Mbah’s Endorsement While Ignoring the Cold-Blooded Murder of Innocent Citizens

It is an absolute insult to human dignity, a display of unmitigated wickedness, and an open mockery of grieving families that an administration stained with the blood of innocent citizens would have the audacity to demand a total economic shutdown just to massage the political ego of a sinking governor.

Reports detailing plans to force commercial tricycle operators to abandon their daily bread and march in a staged endorsement for Governor Peter Mbah have exposed the chilling disconnect of this government. How can an administration demand loyalty and street pageantry when it presides over a reign of terror executed by its own state-backed task force agents? Let us speak the raw, unfiltered truth: up to this very hour, Governor Mbah has not deemed it fit to visit, condole with, or offer a word of comfort to the family of the defenseless Keke operator—who was brutally beaten to death by members of his own task force team at the Gariki market.

Instead of remorse, instead of swift justice, instead of standing with a devastated family mourning their breadwinner, the administration's priority is orchestrating forced rallies and stage-managed endorsements. To demand that struggling transport workers shut down their means of survival to celebrate a regime that brings them sorrow is a monumental slap in the face of humanity, and Ndi Enugu will never accept it!

If the Nigeria Police Force and our security architecture are not completely compromised and working against the collective interests of the people, why are the managers and operatives behind these deadly task force operations not currently behind bars, locked up in a cell awaiting swift trial and court judgment? Instead of facing justice, they move around freely while ordinary citizens bear the brutal cost of unchecked power.

This shameless culture of impunity must stop. You cannot brutalize the poor, murder transporters on our streets, abandon their grieving families, and then force a staged shutdown to worship a failing leader. Ndi Enugu see through the deception, and no amount of forced pageantry will wash away the blood crying out for justice. The resistance is total, and the reckoning for this administration is fast approaching!
