​Addressing the accusations sequentially, Ezeh refuted claims labeling Nnaji a drug baron, clarifying that his wealth and professional background stem from established legitimate enterprises across pharmaceuticals, agriculture, importation, and general commerce.

​Furthermore, the statement rejected the label of a passive cabinet member, pointing to concrete projects, policy initiatives, and structural contributions recorded during Nnaji's twenty-eight months at the helm of the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology. Regarding allegations concerning academic credential discrepancies, the media team stressed that the matter is currently pending before the courts, emphasizing that judicial processes must be respected rather than litigated through political propaganda.
