"TIME WILL SEPARATE PROPAGANDA FROM TRUTH": MEDIA TEAM DISMANTLES ALLEGATIONS AGAINST CHIEF UCHE NNAJI
The Lion Building Media Team for Nwakaibie, through a statement by Ugochukwu Ezeh, has issued a comprehensive response addressing a series of persistent allegations directed at former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, attributing the political attacks to his commitment to rebuilding Enugu State.
Addressing the accusations sequentially, Ezeh refuted claims labeling Nnaji a drug baron, clarifying that his wealth and professional background stem from established legitimate enterprises across pharmaceuticals, agriculture, importation, and general commerce.
Furthermore, the statement rejected the label of a passive cabinet member, pointing to concrete projects, policy initiatives, and structural contributions recorded during Nnaji's twenty-eight months at the helm of the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology. Regarding allegations concerning academic credential discrepancies, the media team stressed that the matter is currently pending before the courts, emphasizing that judicial processes must be respected rather than litigated through political propaganda.
"Over time, many have been made to believe a series of allegations against Chief Uche Nnaji, largely because of his determination to offer Enugu State a new direction and rescue its people from hardship. First, they called him a drug baron, despite his publicly known business interests. Second, they described him as a 'sleeping minister,' overlooking his contributions over twenty-eight months. Third is the allegation of certificate forgery, which is currently before the courts. Why the relentless attacks against a man prepared to sacrifice his comfort, resources, and reputation for the liberation and rebuilding of Enugu State? Time will separate propaganda from truth. Enugu shall rise again."
The media team reaffirmed its confidence in Nnaji's vision for the state, maintaining that ongoing smear campaigns will ultimately fail to distract from his long-term developmental agenda for the people of Enugu.
