Coal City Tech Hub Announces First Batch of 250 Startups
The Coal City Technology Hub, launched six months ago as part of the state government's economic diversification strategy, has announced its first cohort of 250 startups. The initiative, which received N2 billion in state funding, aims to position Enugu as the technology capital of Southeast Nigeria.
Diverse Sectors Represented
The selected startups span multiple sectors including agricultural technology, fintech, healthcare technology, and educational technology. Each startup will receive seed funding of up to N5 million, mentorship, and access to shared workspace for 12 months.
