ENDORSEMENT POLITICS: PETER MBAH AND THE IMAGINARY 100M NAIRA STUDENTS' ENDORSEMENT

Peter Mbah’s latest media stunt is nothing but another carefully stage-managed endorsement drama designed to deceive unsuspecting Ndị Enugu ahead of 2027.

How on earth can students, many of whom are still struggling to pay school fees, transport themselves to classes, feed daily, and survive the crushing economic hardship imposed by this administration, suddenly gather ₦100 million to “support” a governor seeking re-election? Who is fooling who?

This insulting script is too narrow to be believed.

Students who should be inside classrooms learning under conducive conditions are instead assembled before cameras to chant endorsements for a government that has turned taxation into punishment and governance into propaganda. Under Peter Mbah, businesses are groaning, traders are suffocating, transporters are crying out, and ordinary citizens can barely breathe under anti-people policies disguised as reforms.

No amount of rented applause, arranged endorsements, or financially induced solidarity can erase the realities facing Enugu people today. The people see through the deception.

A governor who has spent more time chasing media validation than genuinely connecting with the suffering masses cannot manufacture popularity through orchestrated student gatherings and suspicious financial claims.

The same students being paraded today are witnesses to the economic hardship in their homes. Their parents are paying unbearable taxes. Their guardians are struggling to survive. Their future is being mortgaged by policies that prioritize image laundering over human welfare.

Ndị Enugu are wiser now.

The era where political actors hide failure behind choreographed endorsements is coming to an end. No amount of propaganda can suppress the growing dissatisfaction across Enugu State. The streets know the truth. The markets know the truth. The villages know the truth.

And come 2027, the people themselves will deliver the final verdict.
