KOGI SENATOR REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO DEVELOPMENT, YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTION

A serving senator representing Kogi Central has expressed satisfaction after successfully participating in her party’s screening process ahead of the 2027 general elections under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

She described the exercise as an important step in Nigeria’s democratic process, noting that it reflects internal party democracy and the ongoing preparations for the next general election cycle.

According to her, the screening marks another phase in her political journey as she seeks continued mandate to serve her constituents. She reaffirmed her commitment to delivering quality representation, inclusive governance, and people-oriented development initiatives across the senatorial district.

The lawmaker outlined key areas of focus should she secure a second term, including youth empowerment programmes, expanded access to education through scholarships and learning support schemes, rural infrastructure development, improved healthcare services, and economic growth initiatives across the five local government areas of Kogi Central.

She also pledged to intensify efforts toward attracting federal presence to the district, improving electricity supply, strengthening community security cooperation, and supporting policies aimed at job creation and economic expansion.

Her political vision, she emphasized, remains rooted in service, unity, and inclusive leadership that prioritizes the welfare of constituents over personal interest.

Meanwhile, supporters across Kogi Central have continued to express optimism about her political ambition, describing her participation in the screening exercise as a positive step toward the party primaries and the 2027 general elections.
