PDP Announces Enugu State Gubernatorial Primary Election for May 24
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that its gubernatorial primary election in Enugu State will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
According to the notice issued by the party, the exercise will be conducted across the 260 political wards in the state as part of preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Party members, stakeholders, and ward leaders have been encouraged to mobilize and participate actively in what was described as an important internal party assignment.
The primary election is expected to determine the party's governorship candidate for the upcoming election cycle in Enugu State.
The announcement was signed by Hon. Chukwunonye Okereke, Secretary of the PDP in Enugu State.
