Siminalayi Fubara Withdraws From APC Governorship Primaries in Rivers State
Governor Siminalayi Fubara has announced his withdrawal from the governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State.
In a statement titled “My Decision to Withdraw from the Rivers State Gubernatorial Primaries”, the governor said he made the decision after careful consideration and consultations.
He further stated that he would support whoever eventually emerges as the party’s candidate in the forthcoming primaries.
The development comes as political activities intensify within the APC ahead of internal party elections and preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Party stakeholders are yet to issue an official response regarding the withdrawal.
