Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has expressed strong confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's chances of securing re-election in 2027, stating that the President's performance and growing public support have made an extensive campaign largely unnecessary.

Wike made the remarks on Thursday during the commissioning of projects as part of Day 27 of the Federal Capital Territory's ongoing infrastructure development programme in Abuja.

According to the FCT Minister, the Tinubu administration has demonstrated a clear commitment to delivering critical infrastructure and governance initiatives, which he believes have earned the confidence of Nigerians across the country.

"Tinubu doesn't need to campaign for the 2027 elections. Nigerians will massively vote for him," Wike declared, expressing optimism that the administration's achievements would speak louder than campaign promises.

He noted that the numerous projects being commissioned in the FCT reflect the President's commitment to improving infrastructure, enhancing public services, and accelerating national development. Wike maintained that these visible accomplishments would play a significant role in shaping public opinion ahead of the next general election.
