NWAKAIBIE, ODAA OPUO AND DR. NESTOR EZEME DRAW PUBLIC ATTENTION DURING ENUGU CITY MOVEMENT

ENUGU STATE — The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Enugu State, Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji (Nwakaibie), alongside Chief Nweke Chizoba (Odaa Opuo), representing the political interests of Enugu East Senatorial District, and Dr. Nestor Ezeme of Enugu North Senatorial District, attracted considerable public attention during their movement from the NUJ Press Centre to the Enugu Correctional Centre.

As the political leaders passed through the popular Holy Ghost area of Enugu, a large crowd gathered, with enthusiastic supporters expressing their affection for the PDP and welcoming the leaders. The atmosphere reflected the political excitement surrounding their presence and the growing conversations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The gathering provided an opportunity for supporters to express their expectations for a new direction in Enugu State, with particular emphasis on economic relief, improved living standards, and people-oriented governance. Among the key messages associated with Nwakaibie's campaign is the promise to address multiple taxation, especially as it affects petty traders, small business owners, and vulnerable residents.

The presence of the three political figures also brought attention to the PDP's ongoing political activities across Enugu State as preparations for the 2027 elections continue. For their supporters, the occasion represented an opportunity to renew calls for inclusive leadership, economic opportunities, and policies that place the welfare of Ndi Enugu at the centre of governance.

As political activities intensify, the reception at Holy Ghost adds another moment to the unfolding political conversations in the state. Supporters continue to express their hopes for change and their desire for leadership that responds to the everyday needs of the people.

The message from supporters remains clear: Ndi Enugu deserve responsive leadership, economic relief, and meaningful development.

Feel the support. Enugu must move forward. Uche dey come!
