WIKE URGES PROFESSIONAL BODIES TO PRIORITISE DEVELOPMENT OVER CONSTANT CRITICISM
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has called on professional bodies in Nigeria to focus more on attracting meaningful development and institutional growth rather than engaging in persistent public criticism of government. Speaking during a meeting with delegates of the Body of Benchers in Abuja, Wike emphasized that true leadership should be measured by projects, reforms, and opportunities secured for members and institutions. He praised the Body of Benchers for pursuing infrastructural improvements, while stressing that constructive collaboration between professional associations and government remains essential for strengthening institutions and advancing national development.
