Ikem–Eha-Amufu Road: A Troubling Reflection of Infrastructure Neglect in Isi-Uzo
The deplorable condition of the Ikem–Eha-Amufu Road in Isi-Uzo LGA, Enugu State, has become a pressing concern for residents and road users whose livelihoods and daily activities depend on this vital route. Rather than experiencing infrastructure that facilitates mobility, commerce, and economic growth, communities are confronted with a road situation that continues to create hardship and disruption. If government innovation is truly people-centred, its impact should be evident in safer roads, improved connectivity, functional infrastructure, and better economic opportunities. Development should be measured not merely by promises or slogans, but by tangible improvements in the lives of citizens.
